What it means
The door remains open beyond the maximum allowed time after an authorized access. The system reports a door held open alarm, which may indicate a mechanical problem, a user holding the door, or a door closer malfunction.
Probable causes
- Door closer poorly adjusted or faulty, does not close completely
- Door blocked open by a wedge or object
- Door status magnetic contact misaligned or faulty
- Door held open time configured too short in the controller
- Electric lock not releasing properly
