What it means
Internal temperature beyond limit: failed fans, clogged filters or inlet air too warm. The UPS derates its output power and beyond threshold goes into protection.
Probable causes
- Room temperature above ASHRAE guidelines (18-27 C equipment inlet)
- Internal fans failed or impellers dirty
- UPS filters saturated
- Inlet/outlet air clearances not respected
- Hot air recirculation back to the UPS inlet
