What it means
The leak detection system trips: water in the condensate tray, a clogged drain or a leak from the humidifier group. Many units stop for safety.
Probable causes
- Condensate drain tube clogged or dry trap
- Condensate pump failed (where present)
- Leak from the humidifier group or water valves
- Leak detection sensor wet, dirty or out of position
- Iced evaporator coil overflowing during defrost
