What it means
The plant datalogger is offline and not transmitting data to the monitoring portal. Possible hardware fault, network connectivity loss, or power supply issue.
Probable causes
- Datalogger power supply interrupted (fuse, faulty power adapter).
- LAN/WAN connection lost (Ethernet cable disconnected, switch fault, router offline).
- SIM card data plan exhausted, expired, or with insufficient signal (plants with 4G connectivity).
- Datalogger firmware corrupted or incompatible after update.
Where to start
Check the datalogger power supply: verify the status LED, supply voltage, and protective fuse. Is the device powered on and are the LEDs active?
