What it means
Communication lost with the higher-level control system (PLC) via fieldbus. The drive no longer receives command telegrams within the configured timeout. This fault can be caused by network issues, communication card failure, configuration errors, or network master malfunction.
Probable causes
- Ethernet/Profinet network cable disconnected, damaged, or with a faulty connector
- Fieldbus communication card in the drive faulty
- Duplicate or incorrect IP address or node address in the network configuration
- PLC master in stop or in fault, interrupting cyclic communication
Where to start
Check the status LEDs on the drive communication card and on the switch/Ethernet port. Are the link/activity LEDs lit and blinking?
