E1 CAME — Limit Switch Fault / End Position Not Detected

What it means
The tubular motor limit switch does not work properly: the awning or roller shutter does not stop at the correct position, goes past the limit, or stops too early. The motor may keep running, causing mechanical damage.
Probable causes
- Mechanical limit switch displaced by vibration or wear
- Electronic limit switch not programmed after motor replacement
- Limit switch crown gear worn
- Motor-to-tube adapter not properly seated
- Motor installed with rotation direction inverted relative to the limit switches
