What it means
Detection of a series arc fault on the DC circuit. FIRE HAZARD. The inverter shuts down immediately.
Probable causes
- Poorly crimped or loose MC4 connector.
- Melted panel junction box.
- Partially severed cable generating sparks.
Where to start
WARNING: Active fire risk. DO NOT restart the inverter. Visually inspect the strings for smoke or melted plastic. Found anything?
