What it means
The dishwasher opened the water inlet solenoid valve but the float switch or level pressure switch does not detect the correct level in the tank within the maximum allowed time.
Probable causes
- Upstream water shut-off valve closed or insufficient mains pressure.
- Mesh filter on the inlet solenoid valve clogged with sediment.
- Float level switch stuck in the low position by limescale deposits.
- Inlet solenoid valve faulty with open-circuit coil.
Where to start
Check the water supply valve behind or under the machine. Is it fully open? Is there running water in the premises?
