What it means

The control board detects an abnormal value from the cabinet or evaporator temperature probe (open circuit, short circuit, or out-of-range value). NTC 10K reference: 10 kOhm at 25 C, 32.6 kOhm at 0 C, 55.3 kOhm at -10 C. The unit continues to operate in emergency mode but without precise regulation.

noteValues for standard NTC 10K (B=3435). Typical tolerance +/-5%. Short circuit: < 100 Ohm. Open circuit: > 1 MOhm.

Where to start

Access the unit control panel. Does the display show an abnormal temperature value (e.g., -40 C or +150 C) or dashes / a probe error symbol?
