What it means
Oven - the humidifier or internal steam generator is not producing steam. The oven operates but recipes requiring humidity produce dry results that do not meet programmed specifications.
Probable causes
- Steam nozzles blocked by limescale or food residue.
- Water inlet solenoid valve stuck or coil burned out.
- Internal steam generator (boiler) encrusted with limescale, unable to produce steam.
- Water level probe in the generator faulty or encrusted.
Where to start
Check the oven water supply. Is the upstream water shut-off valve open and is the inlet water filter clean?
