What it means
Condensing pressure exceeds the safety threshold and the controller stops the compressor to protect the refrigeration circuit.
Probable causes
- Outdoor coil blocked by dust or leaves
- Outdoor fan stopped or running too slowly
- Excess refrigerant charge or non-condensable gases in the circuit
Where to start
Clean the coil, verify fan rotation, motor supply and run capacitor. Restore airflow and restart the unit.
