What it means
The intrusion panel reports a low or failed battery: without mains power the system has no autonomy left. A battery past 3-5 years of life, a power supply that no longer charges, or deep-discharge sulphation are the most frequent causes.
Probable causes
- Backup battery beyond its useful life (3-5 years)
- Primary power supply faulty or disconnected
- Prolonged mains power outage
- Battery sulfated due to deep discharge
